Something special is hitting the grill at the ballpark this August.
From August 24 through August 30, @ChefReactions is teaming up with Delaware North Sportservice to bring fans the Balkan Smash Burger—a limited-time creation inspired by the flavors Chef Reactions grew up with.
And, of course, every great smash burger starts with great beef.
We're proud to say the Balkan Smash Burger will be built with Fairway Packing Co. ground beef, bringing together premium beef, bold Balkan flavors, and a great cause for one seriously memorable ballpark burger.
Even better? Proceeds from the promotion will benefit Meals on Wheels America.
Meet the Balkan Smash Burger
This isn't your typical stadium burger.
The Balkan Smash Burger starts with two seasoned Fairway Packing Co. beef patties, smashed on the griddle to develop those crispy, caramelized edges that make a great smash burger so irresistible.
From there, Chef Reactions brings in flavors inspired by his upbringing.
The patties are topped with onion and kajmak, a rich, creamy and cheesy spread commonly enjoyed throughout the Balkans. Then comes ajvar, a roasted red pepper and eggplant spread that adds sweetness, smokiness, and just the right amount of heat.
The result is a burger that's rich, savory, smoky, creamy, and packed with flavor from the first bite to the last.
But it doesn't stop with the burger.
Don't Forget the Fries
Every Balkan Smash Burger is served alongside Vegeta-seasoned fries, bringing another familiar Balkan flavor to the plate.
And because there's no such thing as too much ajvar, you'll also get ajvar mayo for dipping.
