After spending over 30 years in the restaurant business, Marty joined Fairway Packing Company in 2003. As former owner and executive chef of the famed Excalibur Restaurant in Southfield, Marty brings his vast knowledge and culinary expertise. In his 30 years in the business, Marty has met and worked with many vendors and always demanded the highest quality in product and service. Fairway Packing Company always exceeded his expectations, and when the opportunity arose to join the Fairway team, he did. I have been with Fairway Packing Co. since I could walk. I would come into work with my Dad Gene, and then leave with Grandpa Emmet to make sales calls all around the city. My cousins Gene, Joe Jr., and myself are the third generation taking this company to the next level. We are young, aggressive and ready to work. We welcome the challenge of satisfying the most demanding chefs accross the country. I have been active in this business for over 10 years. In that time I have filled every position in the company and can be considered an expert in the business. I received a priceless education from watching my Dad and Uncles run this company. I joined the Fairway Packing Co. sales team in the summer of 2004 after graduating from Saginaw Valley State University. I am a third generation member of Fairway and have been involved in the meat industry my entire life. With my knowledge in this business and my complete confidence in our company I am able to provide our customers with the finest meats, produce and seafood for the best possible price. Just like my other family members, the meat business is in my blood. Growing up I would come to work with my father (Joe Sr) every chance I could. Graduating in the summer of 2006 from Western Michigan University, I immediately joined the family full time. As the director of Internet Sale and Home Delivey, I offer high quality cuts of meats you can't get at your local meat market.
